THERMODYNAMICS
The golden ratio.
Experience the perks of a precise convection to conduction ratio, achieved through advanced thermodynamics. Capable of heating up large volumes of air at a stroke thus ensuring a seamless, on demand, experience without lag. The large surface area of the heater delivers enough hot air regardless of the airflow setting. Whether it’s flavor or huge clouds you are after, the Frolic will deliver.
INSULATED PEEK AIRPATHS
Vapor purity.
There is a lot of stigma around plastic airpaths and vapor purity but this largely depends on the type of plastic used. The complete airpath on the Frolic is 100% insulated from other components and is made entirely from CNC machined PEEK, which is a high performance engineering plastic, known for its exceptional heat and chemical resistance, mechanical strength and excellent dimensional stability and as such is a prime material of choice for our application. PEEK is the only plastic which is completely inert at these temperatures and displays the same properties as glass but with a few notable advantages such as durability, and the length of airpaths which can be achieved.

AIRFLOW CONTROL
Tailored experience.
A wide airflow range paired with precise temperature regulation produces vapor tailored to your personal preference. The Frolic offers virtually unlimited airflow thanks to its powerful heater which can’t be overwhelmed no matter how much air passes through it. Adjustment made simple by rotating the base of the mouthpiece allows airflow from 0-25l/min while keeping the airflow smooth and silent and the output air slowed down, eliminating throat tickle.
MODULAR CONSTRUCTION
A lot to show, nothing to hide.
Limelight was the first to introduce modularity to mods almost a decade ago and we have applied this knowledge to the Frolic. A variety of high end CNC machined and electromechanical components with robust joints, together, form the Frolic. Simple, tool-less operation and maintenance and straightforward assembling/disassembling and repair, paired with a removable 21700 battery because we don't create products with planned obsolescence, we create products that last.

SESSION / DEMAND MODE
Pick your style.

SESSION

40-220°C

In session mode, the heater is activated by pressing the on button. The heater will stay on until the on button is pressed again or until the session time is up via the built-in timer. You can enjoy your draws spaced out throughout the session as the herb is kept warm, until you are ready for the next draw.

DEMAND

40-240°C

In demand mode, the heater is activated by pressing the on button and it will stay on only while the button is pressed. Upon releasing the button, the heater will turn off but retain part of its energy together with the oven, so the next heat-up time is instant. This mode is ideal for those big hits through a bong.

The color OLED screen has a simple, straightforward interface and displays vital information such as the set temperature, when the set temperature has been reached, session time in session mode, elapsed draw time in demand mode, battery level, battery charging and the current mode of operation.

An array of vibration notifications provide additional feedback about the various states of the device. Vibration notifications can be toggled on or off in the setup menu.

The notification LED above the on button notifies you when the device is heating up by displaying an orange light and notifies you that the temperature has been reached by lighting up green. It also displays a number of notifications for different states. LED notifications can be toggled on or off in the setup menu.
COOLING UNIT
The long path.
A powerful heater demands a high performance cooling unit. The total length of the pathways in the cooling unit exceeds 200mm, which guarantees sufficient cooling regardless of the airflow level. Additionally, optional 18mm and 14mm water attachments allow a direct connection of the Frolic to a water piece.

Effortless maintenance.
The cooling chamber is simple to take apart and to clean as there are only 3 parts and the mouthpiece which require cleaning. Only standard Viton O-rings are used and all the parts are dishwasher safe.

BATTERY CAP
When the battery is drained, you can either charge it through the USB-C port or simply replace with a full one on the go without having to wait for a recharge. The Frolic is designed without planned obsolescence meaning that once the battery is past its lifetime, you can replace it with a new one.

DEBOWLER
The Frolic extracts the herb evenly, so there is no stirring involved during use. You can use this tool to remove the herb from the oven once it has been fully extracted.
OVEN
The oven is made out of 6000 series aluminum and is hard-anodized for a non-stick, safe and durable finish. It holds approximately 1/4 of a gram of herb. It transfers a fraction of the heat from the heater via conduction while the extraction process happens via convection.
COOLING UNIT
A powerful heater demands a high performance cooling unit. The total length of the pathways in the cooling unit exceeds 200mm, which guarantees sufficient cooling regardless of the airflow level. Additionally, optional 18mm and 14mm water attachments allow a direct connection of the Frolic to a water piece.
TEXTURED BODY AND TUBE
The body and the heater tube of the Frolic have been textured for a superior look and feel and enhanced heat dissipation.
BATTERY POSITION
Proper weight distribution is achieved by positioning the battery, as the heaviest component, so it falls into your palm when holding the Frolic. We have also made sure that the Frolic has a low center of gravity so it’s stable when placed on a flat surface and operated or attached directly into a water cooler.

The mouthpiece is conveniently placed at the back of the Frolic. It has a wide bore which decreases the velocity of the vapor before it is being inhaled, thus eliminating throat tickle. It is shaped elliptically to sit comfortably on your lips and can be rotated to any position you find convenient.
NOTIFICATION LED
Notifies you when the device is heating up with an orange light and with a green one once the set temperature is reached.

The on button is positioned at the appropriate height for thumb firing and has an ideal operating force of 2.5N.

The Frolic's quick swap O-ring connection allows you to seamlessly remove the mouthpiece and attach a number of attachments specifically tailored for various applications.
